We have also been granted QCA approval for our ICAAE Entry Level & ICAAE Level One Certificates in Business Chinese (Speaking, Listening & Culture). These two new qulifications were launched on 30th June 2006.
They are the first fully supported Chinese language vocational qualifications, with online materials, multimedia tools and online assessment on demand, aimed at rewarding language use in context. They have been developed in conjunction with the faculty of The University of Hong Kong.
The qualifications are fully mapped to the New Language Standards (2006) and the credits are to encourage life-long learning.
The ICAA language e-awards are tailored to suit a range of needs.

ICAAE offers through this specification a series of vocationally related language units, which lead to a qualification at Entry Level and Level One of the NQF.
The purpose of these units is to offer a fresh curriculum with primary focus on students’ current, future and practical communications skills, based on proven pedagogical approaches.
The specification is a vocational qualification at Entry Level for non-native Chinese language students; it is aimed at people who will be working or interacting with Chinese clients, colleagues or businesses.
Candidates can use the units to build a basic foundation in a difficult language, in the most effective, time-efficient and enjoyable manner.
Emphasis is on vocabulary and phrase patterns.The units focus on speaking and listening. Each unit is structured to cover the essential listening / speaking and cultural points necessary to fulfill the identified business need.
