Martin began teaching secondary science in Winchester Twelve years ago.  He eventually left to take up a consultancy position within education which has enabled him to work in a wide range of primary and secondary schools throughout England, Guernsey, and Hong Kong.

He was the lead consultant on the successful London Challenge Pilot programme in 2006 the purpose of which was to raise pupil attainment at GCSE through the effective use of ICT.

Martin is an accredited SLICT facilitator and has been delivering the NCSL BSF Leadership Programme.  He now combines consultancy work with teaching two days a week in Reading as part of the Playing for Success scheme at Reading Football Club.
