After 18 years experience in teaching and local authority advisory work, Maggie took up position as Director of the North East Educational Management Centre, which provided management training for head teachers and other educational managers in 6 local authorities. She has since been Principal Consultant at Cambridge Associates, one of the biggest education consultancies in the private sector.

Dr Sohail Husain is a highly experienced trainer, researcher and adviser in community safety and urban regeneration who has worked in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Having worked for the probation service and NACRO for 25 years, Nigel was appointed to set up Crime Concern in 1988 and his inspiring leadership led it to develop into a £16 million social enterprise.

A well known learning designer, motivator in organisational planning and community engagement, and an educationalist responsible for breakthrough developments in public services and business.

Clive has over 11 years’ experience in the field of youth crime prevention, working at local, regional and national level. 

Most recently Clive was a Managing Consultant with Cap Gemini, a global consultancy, managing programmes for, and providing strategy and policy advice to a number of Government departments and Regional Offices. 

Graham has been a teacher, including 13 years service as Headteacher of two contrasting comprehensive schools in the West Midlands and Oxfordshire. 

Catherine worked for 35 years in Local Authority Social Work as a practitioner and a manager, specialising in Child Care, Adoption, Family Placement and Looked After Children.

Susan’s professional background is education management. She was a Deputy Head teacher for 5 years and then moved to work in the voluntary sector as Director of Safer Merthyr Tydfil Ltd where she raised over £2M for partnership regeneration work.

Pene has a strong background in business administration. Having been a legal secretary, she joined crime concern in 2004 to provide support to The Training and Youth Units.

Having run her own business for a number of years, Clare joins our team as an adult educator, researcher and writer of training materials.
