Maggie Kelly MBE

After 18 years experience in teaching and local authority advisory work, Maggie took up position as Director of the North East Educational Management Centre, which provided management training for head teachers and other educational managers in 6 local authorities. She has since been Principal Consultant at Cambridge Associates, one of the biggest education consultancies in the private sector.

Before becoming independent Maggie was Director of Young Peoples Services at Crime Concern, where she led a large programme of consultancy work and developed an impressive project portfolio, including the Youth Justice Board National Flagship Programme, The Youth Inclusion Programme and the DfES Safer Schools Programme.

In 2003 Maggie was awarded the MBE for her services to young people.

Maggie now concentrates on Leadership and Management in schools and Children's Trusts and on effective multi-agency working to deliver the aims of Every Child Matters.

She also works with professionals on Change Management.  She is an accredited trainer with the Hay Group in Emotionally Intelligent Leadership and with the National College of School Leadership for the SLICT and BSF programmes. Maggie's extensive experience and knowledge of leadership and management coupled with an interactive and learner-centred approach to implementing change make her a valuable member of our team.
